What is the difference between your plans?

The Standard plan is a single-user pay-as-you-go plan. You purchase transcription hours up front and use them as you need them. This is perfect if you have a small transcription project.

The Premium and Enterprise plans are multi-user subscription plans. You pay a monthly or yearly subscription. In addition to this, you pay a transcription fee per hour. This is ideal if you have a higher volume of transcription or collaborate with people inside or outside your organization.

What do you mean by hourly rate? Is it length of audio/video, time to transcribe, or time on the SanitaAl website?

“Per hour” of transcription relates to the length of audio or video file that you upload, not the length of time to transcribe or the length of time you use the software.

We prorate your “per hour” transcription down to the nearest second so you only pay for what you use. For example, if you transcribe a video file that is 52 minutes, you will only be charged for 52 minutes, not a full hour.

Are there additional charges for translation?

Yes, automated translation is an extra charge. It is charged at the same rate as your transcription rate. The same applies to alignment and burn-in subtitling.

How are my free minutes applied?

Every new account comes with 30 free minutes. If you purchase minutes and you still have free minutes remaining, the free minutes will be applied to your first upload.

Can I cancel my subscription plan anytime?

Yes, you can stop your Premium or Enterprise subscription by clicking 'cancel subscription'. This will stop you from being billed again. You can do this from your account page: https://my.Sanitaal.com/account

Up until the anniversary of your subscription, you'll still be able to upload and transcribe new files.

Do you have any discounts for high volume transcription?

Contact our enterprise team if you transcribe over 1,000 hours per year and they can assist you.

What currency are your prices in?

All pricing on SanitaAl is listed in USD (United States Dollars). If you’re outside the U.S., your credit card provider may convert the charge to your local currency.
